Sculptor Kim Matthews uses repetition and allusion to natural processes to create meditative reliefs and 3D forms rooted in Eastern spirituality. Edith Hillinger juxtaposes watercolor and photographic mediums in her diptychs of fresh and dried flower petals, documenting these fragile yet enduring fragments of nature. John Terwilinger draws personal portraits of University of Minnesota St. Paul campus trees as a commendation to his alma mater.

The “geo-expressionist” paintings of Jim Grafsgaard explore the diversity and energy of life on Earth by focusing on the micro-organisms which are the foundation of this biosphere. Charles Matson Lume plays with light and shadow using found objects varying from magnifying glasses to tape to create new engaging visuals on the floor and walls of the gallery space.
